Project Description:
I am currently using Outlook to auto-forward emails received from specific senders/email addresses (currently about 25 different ones but will be increasing that number by about 50-100 per month) by using the "rules" function ("if from this email address then forward to...”)
However, I would like to also do the following before each email is auto forwarded (and it is my understanding that it can be done in visual basic):
Add/append a short code to end of the subject line that will be specific to the original sender of the email. So each different sender/from email address will have a designated code that will be added to the end of the subject line for every email that I receive from that sender.
So, because I now have 25 different senders that I am forwarding the email for, I would have 25 different codes that would be added to the end of the subject line for each respective sender prior to being forwarded.
However, I would also want the ability to add more email addresses (on my own once after this is setup) to this process as I increase the numbers each month.
Please give me your best bid as I am just starting out on this new speculative project and funds are limited. Also, if this is successful, then there will be more work of this type that you will be able to do for me in the future (I am looking for someone I can build a relationship with that can help me with this type of more sophisticated - at least for me – programming as this project develops).
