Project Description:
I am looking for a programmer that can help me scrape the contents of a product reviews website.
The data should be extracted and inserted in to a mysql database so I can then have easy access to it.
The format of the webiste is the following:
-The products are sorted alphabetically. On the main page of the site there is a dropdown box with each lettter that takes you to the page with all products starting with the letter "A",letter "B",etc.
-On each letter's page , there is a page with a list of links to 20 products. At the end of each page there is a "next page" link to visit the next page until all the products starting with that particular letter are over.
-On the page for every individual product there are around eleven fields I need scraped and inserted in to a DB.
I don't need the products to be sorted alphabetically or anything.
The website, database format, etc, will be given to you after you have won the project.
