Project Description:
My Machine is Windows 2012 Standard Edition VM Hyper V machine 4 core and 4 GB RAM, IIS 8, SMTP service(currently disabled), no control panel only RDP with full adim access
It is hosting mainly a news based portal on dotnetnuke (.Net 4), SQL 20112 web edition, SQL profiler is installed, with low traffic and very little media. MS EndPoint is installed
The task will be to configure the Windows firewall as a web server, (enable necessary ports and services)
Extensive knowledge of IIS 8 Request filtering is required (for extra security) and any security measures on the IIS
Dump file analysis
Event Log analysis
Disable all unnecessary services.
SQL Profiler analysis
.Net Stack trace analysis (you may use any tool of your choice)
and any other measure you deem necessary
Once the full audit and tweaking is complete, if any serious issue is found this will be quoted separately subsequently.
On completion of the tasks, this will entail on-going support on a regular hourly basis as you will be best suited knowing the server
