Create a fast and easy to use, Excel-based weekly work timesheet for workflow and project time tracking in our small PR/media/marketing business.
We want to include a graphic front end interface incorporating our company branding/feel for staff to be presented with, with access to the backend data only for management. We can provide a full graphics/design if required.
The timesheet needs to have drop down selection menus listing our clients and their various departments, allocate job numbers (abbreviated client name/yy-mm-dd/job number of the day), include selection menu for job particulars (our departments/services), a space for staff comments undertaking the role, time started, finished and accumulated time spent.
We also need the capability of expanding the selection criteria at any stage, and to be able to draw information and statistics from the data input.
The goal of this project is to build a capability which will allow us to accurately track time spent on jobs, understand our workflow, organise job schedules, delegate responsibilities and build a database of knowledge from which we can build our business.
