I need to build a client and staff CMS for communication and collaboration of files/messages online for use during product design (concept review, feedback, photos, testing, prototype, mass production activities etc) and for collaboration and communication of files during orders to these clients (eg. shipment 2 - folder to have space for shipping documents, photos, assembly, and comments) to avoid email and for archiving
i have tried demo on many crm such as sugar, glasscubes etc etc and found them all to be lacking or overly complicated.
if anyone can implement or integrate modules to do this using Alfresco or Drupal i would be interested. The system will have few features but these will be repeated
eg. DASHBOARD will show CLIENT or PROJECT, under this there will be designated folders to store files and communicate on messageboard for that project, attach files, drawings, photos etc

a document mangement system with the ability to post messages and customise fields as opposed to using a basic system like BaseCamp etc etc
