I would like to refresh my company's website so it looks contemporary, is easily editable by us inhouse and is structured so it works well on tablet devices - but not using flash. A website I very like like the format of is www.cdevision.com, so something along these lines would be good.
We are a book publishing and publishing services provider, so we need to be able to show off a portfolio of work as well as discuss our writing and editorial services in clear simple sections of the site.
Our existing site is www.longmedia.com.au but the new one as a scrolling format will have fewer pages but most of the same content, although I will be updating that too. Wordpress may be a good solution, but as long as we have simple editing of the content (images and words, not structure) I will be happy.
I need to keep our company orange colour and the new design could make use of elements of our logo.
The site must show us as a publisher, but contemporary, and that we work in the digital age too as we are increasingly offering digital publishing solutions to clients.
I hope that provides enough detail.
