Project Description:
We need to have a portal type website designed (not developed).
The portal will include:
A sophisticated calendar with galleries integrated with YouTube and Facebook.
Local Articles uploaded by users
Articles taken from various feeds
A "spot guide" where users can input data about certian locations (integration with Google Maps)
And more ..
Content show to user must be filtered based on user's preferences
The site will include around 10-15 page varieties of the same basic design. Possibly a little more.

Front page
Article page
A site map with all pages + a document with specifications will be provided prior to the start of job.
You will be working with a person ultimately responsible for the final designs and could be asked to do several redesigns depending on how the work progresses.
This is a pro job. We are only interested in bids from pros with very good design skills and a good knowledge of website information architecture. The UI is just as important at the looks of the site. You also need to have a good command of English and communicate well.
We need at least 2 samples of previous work to consider bids - preferably more.
We have a very strong preference for elegant, clean design with a very intuitive UI.
We would prefer if the designs were made in Adobe Illustrator, (though not essential), initially in a more sketchy way, but ultimately delivered as pixel perfect PSDs. The site will then be developed in Drupal CMS.
If everything goes well it is very likely that we would like to work with the freelancer again in the future.
