Overview and Objectives
We seek several technical resources to assist with the development of our client's internal intranet website. While core functionality of the site has been established, further customization is needed to improve usability and create new features.
Scope of Work
Contractors shall be responsible for designing, testing, maintaining and supporting enhancements/features on the in-house version of the Drupal 7 platform. Our client has recently transitioned its office level intranet content to Drupal and has begun work to migrate all other departments to the Drupal platform also. Each department has its own unique requirements that will need to be evaluated and migrated to Drupal.
The necessary support will require planning migration efforts, future development to meet new requirements, theming (design and layout) of new site areas, as well as maintenance and bug fixes for the current implementation. All support shall comply with the client rules and be available to employees with disabilities, per Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
New features and capabilities will be identified by the client but will include the implementation and/or modification of contributed Drupal modules or custom Drupal module development. For example, implementation of online forums, enhanced search, media galleries, conference registration, etc. All work requests will be formally identified by the client and assigned to the Contractor as necessary. All development work will be tested on non-production servers prior to deployment. Final deployment of new web sites to production servers shall not occur until the client has given approval.

All bidders are asked to attach a resume showing the following. References may be requested later:
1. The contractor must demonstrate at least three years Drupal development experience in version 6 and 7 including Drupal theme and module development and at least six months in Drupal 7.
2. The contractor shall have conducted at least one development projects (sites or modules) completed using Drupal 6 or newer, with at least one project in Drupal 7, with the sites being similar in size and scope to large government sites
3. All contractors will provide their drupal.org user name.
