Thank you for looking at this project, below are the details. I am looking for a new design for at least one of my sites (possibly 4 other sites), I want the site to have an excellent web 2.0 look and feel to it so the designer MUST have strong web 2.0 design skills so please only bid on this project if you can supply me with a good portfolio of Web 2.0 designs. The project will consist of you designing upto 10 pages based on current pages of my site, there are a lot more pages on the site but I can create the rest of the pages myself based on the pages you design, some parts of the site will require you to do some ajax work so this is recommended but not essential as I could have the ajax work done by someone else. The final pages MUST be valid xhtml Transitional/css and I will check and validate them, you will also be responcible for designing any images that are needed for the design including logo, if you see images on the page you are redesigning then you can assume that you will need to redesign those images for the new design. the site that I am having re-designed for this project is www.theunlocker.co.uk (I will provide links to the pages to redesign) so please take a look around the site to get a feel of what you will be doing, remember you are only going to design some of those pages not all of them. Please send me links to web 2.0 sites you have completed (or working on) so I can check them out, please only send and bid if you can provide links to web 2.0 designs you have done, im not interested in seeing all the sites you have done im ONLY looking to see your web 2.0 work. When I find designers that I think could do the job I am after then I will ask that you provide a mockup of www.theunlocker.co.uk index page, you can watermark if you wish or use any other means to protect it as long as I can get an idea/feel of what you are thinking in regards to the design. below are some site designes that I like, please look at them to understand the type of design quality I expect, if you cant provide work like these then you should not be bidding on this project. http://carma.org/ http://www.synergema.com/ http://www.colorschemer.com/ http://www.digg.com/ http://www.alsacreations.fr/ http://www.heritageprep.org/ http://www.worshipleaderinsights.com/ http://www.churchleaderinsights.com/ http://www.voki.com/ http://www.curve2.com/ One thing to know is that I dont like a lot of white space, subtle colours work just as good if not better so please remember this if you are chosen for the design work, for example http://www.youtube.com/ is considered web 2.0 but I think the design is pale and bland becuase it has very little color and far to much white space.
