Alright so I've tried to design this site for the last three weeks, but I'm just fumbling around now and I don't have time to delve into the world of CSS. I'm looking for a competent designer that can design a WordPress website for me.
I already bought the domain, a year of hosting and I bought the template. I also have the logo all ready to go. All you need to do is get familiar with the theme (geotheme) and design it so it barely looks like the template (to a degree, work with what ya got).
Basically I want a website that is a clone of yelp (not style-wise, but content wise). I will be travelling to a whole bunch of countries documenting where all the gyms are in each of those countries big cities. My website will be for any traveler that is staying somewhere unfamiliar that still wants to work out. I want it to be very user friendly with not a whole lot going on the front page (no need to put a map there),simple stupid. I chose that theme because it was one of a very few themes that included geo location and peer review all-in-one. I want to be able to give directions to all of these gyms while also doing a write up with picture/video review. I would also want to include a section dedicated to recipes/ingredients you can find specifically in these different cities. This is all going to be content drivin so it will be bare bones for the next month or two before I take off. I guess just make the templates and I can fill in the rest later during my travels.
My piss poor website is [url removed, login to view] if you want to see where I'm at. I would love to make that logo a bigger part of the front page and change up those background colors (a two-three color style would be perfect). I don't need a search bar at the moment and I really want to steer away from having a map on the front page and more basic navigation using the menu. Tell me what you think and please ask a lot of questions!
Please include portfolio work!
