Design a unique and professional webpage around an existing PHP and JS application using best practices in graphic design and CSS.
==>Required qualifications<==
Graphical design: An artist and expert at creating webpage components and graphics that captivate the audience. Experience with taking an existing idea (i.e. our logo) and expanding it into a coherent vision/look for the webpage.
CSS: Expert at using advanced CSS techniques to layout components and creating impressive effects that defy the norm.
HTML/PHP: Solid understanding of the basics in order to understand how the existing PHP and JS application fits into the webpage.
==>Project Details<==
An existing logo (attached) will be used as inspiration for the creation of the webpage. The designer must choose the layout, colors, textures and graphical elements of the design to match and complement the logo style. There is some pink color in the logo, that does not mean we want a pink website. We want something that is neutral and appeals to everyone.

The core of the application is contained in the “style_container” CSS division which is 952 x 720 pixels. For the design, the dimension of this particular division should remain the same because its content is driven by some JS and other events. In some instances the height of this division is increased vertically to accommodate longer menus and other elements.
The top bar is currently blue and spans the entire width of the webpage horizontally. It contains the user’s picture (50 x 50 pixels), his name and a drop-down menu when logged in. The functionalities of displaying the user picture and other elements must be preserved, but the size, layout colors and other elements of this bar can be modified.
There is also a footer below the “style_container” division which contains other links. These links must be preserved in incorporated into the design. The change made to the design will be applied to the pages linked in the footer.
Basically, all existing functional elements currently on the page must be kept and merged into the website design.
The webpage must use unique graphical elements and state of the art techniques that create a professional and well thought of look.
It is the designer’s responsibility to look at the logo and go through the artistic process of creating the webpage.
It is the designer’s responsibility to take initiative in the design and consult with us along the way to develop an outstanding final product.

Copy and past project
Amateur work (i.e. changing some background colors and rounding corners is not website design…)
Plagiarism (using material that is not unique – at least without consulting with us)
No prior experience
Lack of communication during the design phase
Work that is not tested for cross-browser compatibility
Using of wordpress, Drupal, Joomla etc... This is a design work.

This work is 50% artistic skills and vision, 25% graphical design and 25% implementation (CSS, HTML etc.).
