Project Description:
We are a wedding rental company looking to do something unique. We want to create a beautiful, user friendly website which will allow our potential clients (brides and grooms) to pick and choose from out decor items and place these pieces onto a virtual table. The website will be a comprehensive and interactive website with CMS and eCommerce and possibly with inventory management software.
The virtual table design is one of the most important aspects of this site. We will need to graphically recreate our inventory online. Our clients should then be able to create a virtual table and play around, changing table linens, center pieces and floral arrangements and eventually creating their dream wedding table and then be able to order it and pay for it.
The site will be at least 7 - 10 pages, NOT including the entire virtual table design.
Appearance, of course, is extremely important as we are a Wedding Design company and our clients will judge us and choose us based on our aesthetics.
We will need to incorporate eCommerce software into this site. We need to have SEO in mind from the beginning and build accordingly. We want to be able to mange the site ourselves after its creation and require CMS.
We are interested in looking at inventory control software being built into the site as well.
We would be very interested to hear your thoughts regarding this project and how you would address some of the specific needs mentioned above.
We understand that this will require several different skill sets including programming and design. We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable person to oversee this project but who also processes many of the specific skills involved in building the website. You will need to have contacts and be well networked in the web design community and respected as a leader. You will need to be flexible and patient as old ideas are dismissed and new ideas are brought to the table. You will need to share our vision for the duration of the project and be creative and inventive and able to take initiative.
We would be interested in doing this project for a fixed price and would like to know approximately what you would estimate the cost to be. If you would prefer hourly, please estimate the amount of hours you think it would take and at what price.
