Hi. This is my project, it is very very urgent, I tried to do it myself, but it seems very hard, I know nothing of design, and try to do it from powerpoint but I made a mess. My friend mark told me about this site, and he said he was going to post it, last week, but he didnt, so I'm doing everything by myself.I have a budget of $250.00, what I need is a little website to publicite my services. I am a stylist, what I really really want to sell is hair extensions, and I want to put that as my main product. my other services include, nails, make up, hair style, color, and bridal hair.
A famous beauty site from my city, has given me the opportunity to open a pop up window on their site, so what I want is a website kind of like a bussiness card or presentation card, like perhaps 500 wide per 300 height, simple but pretty, sofisticade, this is for rich women for about 18 to 35. I dont have a logo, I dont have an address, since I want to point out that I will go to their homes and perform the services there. I was thinking something like www.tony-guy.com, but with a little more desing, since that looks pretty simple. and I dont like the menu on the side. The name I want to use is Belle, af this is were my artistic name.
I want something that looks pretty good, so clients seems interested, this is a great opportunity to be seem by a lot of clients. I would even include your credit and link. But! this need to be ready for yesterday!! since it will be include on the september newsletter. yes!!! on WEDNESDAY 1st! I know its TOO late!. I would really love to see samples or even if you could make a design for me of the website. and if you could please please have it for me on tuesday afternoon. can anyone help me out?

And I have been having members telling Im getting rip off for charging 250 for only a webpage (since I want a busnisse presentation card in a webpage) but what I want is a really good design. not bulk work. thanks!

Again, if you dont want to create a sample for belle, don't do it, dont send me rude emails telling me that I want to keep 70 designers working on this project, but I have seen some samples some have been sending, and its not what I have in mind and I'm sorry but most of them do not look professional. If you don't want to make a sample for belle thats more than ok, but if you have previous samples (that are yours) of beauty sites you have (like toni and guy) send them. But please don't send me rude emails those will be ignored.

Hello there. I couldn't find any other (or more decent) way to contact, so here goes.
It seems apparent that your earlier provider (googly goo or whatever it may be) was unable to complete your project and quite incapable of doing so too...

I'm sorry for you and others who have taken their time out of their busy schedules to design something for someone who didn't appreciate your time or efforts and just didn't want it.
I've found out that most people who are looking for a web designer here are really looking for a $1,000 website for $20.
The first thing they say is it's simple.
then they have a 10,000 word description of what they want. I see nothing simple in that.
To Belle:
I only asked for your pictures so If I did do a design and you liked it ? I would only have to do it once.
I'm sure I speak for every designer here.
I don't have the time to do the same exact site twice.
Picture work and web design work is no walk in the park.

Is probably the same time you could have spent doing some rich ladies hair from the age of 18 to 35 and you could have made $250 or more for a website.
At $150 an hour ?
I loose out trying to give someone a helping hand.

The site is an all FLASH site and your budget for $250 is unlikely and for those who bid for $100, I believe that they are not capable of doing such a site and for those who are able to design a FLASH website for such a low price its just lowering the market value of quality websites. Designers should be getting paid for what they do best. Bottom line is that I can gaurantee you that Toni-Guy paid well over $250.
