We're working on a site that is run by yahoo merchant services.
We need to be able to customize how the search works.
The included search only functions by keyword, which we tried and it does not return results with hits by size or color.
The provided search option is so limited because we built a custom store layout and then integrated the database, instead of using one of their Yahoo templates which doesn't really match the rest of the site. Had we used their template, we might have access to a better search tool.
Customer support and they said the generic keyword search is all they provide for custom sites and that anything more robust has to be custom built by a developer.
