Project Description:
** Private-Sales Ecommerce Store **
We are hiring a developer with expert experience with the Magento ecommerce platform to build a Private-Sales store (similar to Gilt.com, ruelala.com, etc) using the Magento open-source community platform and a group of available plugins to build a private sale club.
A private sale Site is an E-commerce site wherein, users are invited to join as members and once they join, they start getting emails (daily or weekly) for deeply discounted items sold to them in time limited sales (12 hrs, 24 hrs, 36 hrs) and triggered by minimum number of orders bought by members. Users who are not invited can request to be invited but unless they are members of the Site they can see only the home page but will not see deals or will not receive emails with deals
This is a very straight forward project as most of the desired features are already offered as plug-ins. We need someone who can piece it all together quickly. There will be more work immediately following this project and going forward if built to our satisfaction. We also can purchase your existing system which you design for your customer. It could save the time and money both of us.
We will require examples of work performed in Magento before hiring.
**The requirements are as follows...
I. Build a Private-Sales Ecommerce store using the Magento platform incorporating the following functionality:
- Private, Members-Only access and login to sales (this is available through the Private Sales plugin)
- wordpress+ buddypress integration (available through the wordpress link plugin by fishpig)
- Limited time sales with a "time left until sale ends" countdown
- Refer a friend (invite new members) with rewards system (available through the Refer a Friend plugin)
- Ability to vary price of product by date offered (available through the bookings and reservations plugin)
- Add comments (or customer questions) to product pages (available in the Product Questions plugin).
- Reward Points System
- Customer Store Credits
- Gift Certificates/Cards(virtual)
- Category View and Purchase permissions per on customer group (limited catalog access)
- Private Sales including Events, Invitations and Category access permissions
- All the features above must be integrated into the admin panel
- Minimum three languages will be available on the site
- A schedule of offer will be displayed
- Mass mail newsletter function
*Magento already has most of these pages. We just need the layout adjusted to meet the specifications above. Once contracted we will also provided wireframes.
