Knowledge of live poker events is essential for the development of this project! \r\n\r\nThere are 6 main parts to this project...\r\n\r\n1) Server software\r\n\r\n2) Membership sign up and database\r\n\r\n3) Tournament Registration\r\n\r\n4) App on hand-held device such as mobile phones\r\n\r\n5) Build a website\r\n\r\n5) Server Comunication with website\r\n\r\n1) SERVER\r\nBuild a software application for a "Server PC" to manage a live poker tournament... \r\nThe Server pc will store all data and will be where every tournament is created and edited from. example... Every tournament needs a Title, buy-in, starting chips, what table numbers are to be used how many seats issued on each table etc. The server will calculate the number of players multiplied by the buy-in to calculate total prizepool. Then have templates stored that will calculate how many players in the tournament will receive prizes (eg, pay 12% of the field) and the value of each prize( eg, 1st = 30%, 2nd = 20%, etc. The server will know the name of each player registered in the tournament, where each player is seated. When a player is moved from one seat to another, the floor staff will have a hand-held device such as a mobile phone which will have an app on it. Staff will use the app to comunicate with the server to tell the server the new seat that player is sitting in. This means that the server will at all times know where every player is seated. If a player loses all his chips and is eliminated from the tournament the floor staff will use the app on their hand-held device to bust the player out. The app on the hand-held device will communicate with the server and then the server will change the status for that player to "Bustout" The app on the hand-held device will also be used to update chip counts for players and some other features to be outlined later in this doc. All this info will be fed to a website where the list of players in the tournament will be displayed in "Chip order" and followed by the "Bustout" players in bustout order.\r\n\r\n2) MEMBERSHIP\r\nWhen Players arrive they will go to a desk which has a number of "Membership Sign-up" computers to receive a "membership card" (Barcde, RFID, magnetic, etc. The "Membership Sign-Up" pc\'s will communicate with the "Server pc" sending it all the info to be stored on the "Server". Info such as Lastname, Firstname, Date of Birth, Email address, Nationality, photo, etc.\r\n\r\n3) TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION\r\n3A) Once a player has his membership card he will walk to "Tournament Registration" desk where there will be a number of computers there. The Staff using the "Tournament Registration" pc\'s will scan the membership card and register players in a tournament.\r\n3B) The player will then receive a receipt that displays info such as Tournament Title, Buy-in, Date, Starting time, Table & Seat no, Lastname, Firstname and a ticket no (ie, first player registered is ticket no 1, etc)\r\n\r\n4) POKER CLOCK\r\nA "Clock Layout" will be designed. The clock will show tournament title, Number of entries / Remaining Players, total prizepool, Current Blid Level, Next Blind Level, etc. The clock will need to be created with different colour background options and also the ability to change logo displayed. The clock layouit software will be installed on seperate pc\'s which will be connected to projectors on screens. The data from server will be sent to clock pc\'s via a network. The data such as total entries, total prizepool, remaining players, blind levels, etc, will be sent from the server staraight to the clock.\r\n\r\n5) Build a website that will display data from server
