Project Description:
Any technology can be used. AJAX may make interface smoother.
For my purposes Member is defined as person who has a request.(Like me in the getafreelancer world). Providers can do the work.(Like you in the gatafreelancer world)
Design a web site that allows Members to blast request to selected Providers. The messages can go out as either SMS, e-mail or IM depending on the selected Providers profile.(default SMS)
The messages are generated based on request with pre-defined fields. Members create a contact list of Providers they already know. Request can be matched against Provider profile database to extend search beyond Members list. Members also have Friends list of other Members that can share Contact List.
Similar to getafreelancer(different industry) except some providers are already known(put on Members contact list) and others are trusted Providers(Verified by Members friends). Providers are matched against request and contacted (SMS,e-mail, IM) if they match and they are selected instead of posting to the entire community like getafreelancer.
Need an Alpha version running on my server that at minimum let's Members create list and contact Providers.
