We need a website that will allow users to browse through photo galleries. The galleries will be read from our server and will just be in folders with a top folder and sub folders.
We'll need a back end that will allow us to create users and assign them to galleries. Giving them specific permissions such as downloading and which galleries they can access. We also want to see gallery view and download stats. We'll also want to be able to activate and deactivate galleries from this back end.
On the front end we just want a basic login screen allowing users to login the username and password. That will take them to the main gallery that they are assigned to where they will see all of the sub galleries. We'll need the Name of the gallery and below that one picture from the gallery as a thumbnail. We should display sub galleries per page. They should be sorted by date. We want the Name of the gallery, the date added, and the number of images.
When they click a sub gallery it will take them to all of the images contained in that folder. We'll want them to view 25 by default however they can choose 25, 50, or 100. These will just be thumbnail views with the image name under them. A button to Download All Images will be available at the top and bottom of each of these pages - allowing the user to download the entire sub gallery. When they click this button it should allow them to choose a save location. We also want a progress bar as they download so they know how long it will take and how many images there are that have downloaded. Once the process is finished it will say Done. This should not interrupt their browsing capabilities on the site. If a user chooses to download more than one sub gallery it should add to their "queue" so that they can only download one gallery at a time.
Clicking on an image will load the image in a more full screen mode. There should be a Save button under this view allowing them to save the image to their computer. A Done status should also appear when it is downloaded.
Our logo will probably be available on the login page with short instructions/contact info. We also want a simple border or layout on the pages just so they aren't plain white.
