I need to build a website that has a simple enough function. The website will preferably be a Wordpress site as I have some experience using Wordpress and should manage the aesthetics and basic functions of the site.
The website itself will be along the lines of a quoting website. The best way to detail the website is to go through the steps that a user would go through, there will be two users, Vendor and Agent. Both Vendor and Agent will have a their own account pages where they will have the ability to receive notifications, while also receiving those notifications via email. Now onto the steps;
Step 1: Vendor registers account. Agent registers account. (the agents will need to be signed up and registered before the website goes live)
Step 2: Vendor the fills out and submits form on website regarding the item that they need valued by the Agent.
Step 3: When the form is submitted, Agents that match location criteria will receive the data from the form ( the vendors contact info will not be sent, just info on the item being valued)
Step 4: The Agent is notified by email and can log on to their account to view the valuation request, and submit a value and fees charged for selling the item (among other info if needed)
Step 5: The Vendor is then notified via email that their item has been valued by the agent or agents and can then log on to see the valuation and fees charged by the agents (at this stage the agents identity will remain anonymous)
Step 6: The Vendor can then choose what Agent they would like to go with and request a call back from one of more Agents.
Step 7: The Agent(s) then receive a notification via email and their account page that they have a call back request. They can see what valuation has requested a call back but not the contact details.
Step 8: The Agent will then go through a payment process in order to receive the Vendors contact information.
Step 9: Once the Agent has paid they will receive the contact details for the Vendor via their account page and via email.
I am open to any questions you may have. Thanks
