Project Description:
We have two applications - both written in C/C++ (might be some python in there) which do screen capture and key logging on Windows OS platforms. We need to have these ported to run on Apple MAC operating systems.

The screen capture works as follows:

- Takes screen shots every X seconds (configurable)
- Monitors for change in screen image to minimize the actual data captured
- Compresses these to MPEG4 format
- Transmits to server

Please read the rest of the description below. (Posted too soon.)

- Transmits to server
- Caches screen shots to disk if connection with server is unavailable
- Deletes screen shots once successfully transmitted

The key logging application is not actually a key logger, but works somewhat similarly:

- Monitors for key strokes and mouse movements.
- tracks keys pressed based on a set of rules. Only keeps keys in memory as long as they satisfy those rules
- Adjusts keys based on corrections (for example, this sequence: "123[Backspace]4" would be held as "124"
- When the number of keys collected satisfies other rules (for example, a specified length) the string is processed and the data sent to a server.

Output of both programs would need to match what's expected by the server program, which runs on Windows 2003 server.
