I need a Windows (XP-W7) command-line batch script (.bat) that enables me to offload media (MOV/JPG/etc files) from a removable disk (CF/USB/etc) to a pre-defined folder.
Software that needs to be used:
* Jacksum - Java-based command-line tool to create MD5/SHA1 checksums --<[login to view URL]>
* Robocopy -- Standard copy program in Windows 7
Features that need to be available:
* Pre-defined settings/variables in BAT file
* Folder keyword to scan (recursively) for before backing up (default: DCIM) -- *Immediate scan for keyword in source drive "folder" structure. If found, continue - or else: stop and give BIG warning*
* File extension to scan (recursively) for before backing (default: MOV) -- *Immediate scan for extension in source drive "file" structure. If found, continue - or else: stop and give BIG warning*
* Set target drive and folder (default: d:\backup\)
* Subfolder date-time format? yyyymmdd-hhiiss -- *will create for example: 20110210-180112 folder before copying, please make sure this works perfectly for international windows versions!!*
* File comparision algorithm? CRC32/MD5/SHA1 (default: MD5)
<!-- -->
* Actions & Dialogs
* Please enter the source drive you wish to back up (default drive: E)
* Show warnings based on pre-defined settings -- if any
* Create summary checksum (-S option with jacksum) of **source disk** and store in variable (sourcesum)
* Start copy to target dir (d:\backup\20110210-180112) with **robocopy**
* Create summary checksum of **target dir** and store in variable (targetsum)
* Compare sourcesum and targetsum -- if identical set screen color to green using "COLOR 2f" and show succeeded message -- if **not identical** set screen color to red using "COLOR cf" and set **WARNING** message
