I have an old program based on Clipper. This program work on a multiuser environment for years. Actually each workstation (WS) loads .EXE and results transferred between WS and filer server. File server is on windows 2003 Server.
Program is a data entry that adds to file server each day Doctors,Patients,Exams and Results.
1. I don't have code of .EXE
2. Files that produced are in the form of DBF that of course I have access to edit. Actually I want to audit changed in one dbf named Fanal.dbf in a specific field Fanal.Result
3. I have an ODBC that connects DBF files bidirectonial with Access 2003. Read/Write
What I want is to audit the change of any of these parameters in DBF files. Something that is easy due to bidirectional connection with Access. But the most important is to know in Witch WS this Edit/Change and time has been done.
Program needs win98 or Dos to run so Coder should see changes on the DBF files that located on Windows 2003 Server.
The coder should answer to this question. Is it possible to mark in a Windows 2003 Server from witch WS a Record have a change in these parameters (date time, result)? and I repeat changes are appeared into DBF files.
I could supply with dbf file and also I could call remote the Coder to follow changing of files on Server.
