I need an Access Database designed for Access 97-2003 format. It needs to track tasks for manufacturing, print out reports for assignments, etc. There are several items that are manufactured at different stations. Need to be able to track and schedule items by item number, due date, and/or station. Need to log number of item run, number scrap, number over by item and employee. Database needs to generate a daily schedule for items on each station based on due date and priority (standard or rush). Client needs to be able to input/change directions on each item, as well as processing time. Some items (molds) require cores to be made before the mold. There are 7 core stations and 7 mold stations. Need reports and forms to input/show orders, order status, items run and remaining to be run, scrap, etc.
Microsoft has an Access 2007 database that has some really neat features, and would be cool if this could be based on that one. However, it has to be Access 2003 format.
I can provide more information if necessary. I have a basic layout prepared, and can provide all information needed for the database.
We have the requisite functional and technical expertise. We require more information. At present we have provided cost of one resource for 8 hours @ $20 per hour.
Let us know if you need more information from us to establish our credibility. This project cannot be done in $300 as it is more extensive in nature.
thanks

I am familiar with java and c++, so I think if it is done with web format will be better. you may access it from another machine and it is easy to add a new function also. if you want it as a windows application, I am ok also.
