I need someone to add a Wordpress blog to my current website. I would like it to be an expert custom theme, modeled on the website. I have different pictures I will send to you to add if possible. The blog is to be fairly simple functionality - ie. no tags/categories/tagcloud. Bloglines in the sidebar - still a decent sidebar but not too feature packed (on all pages - home, archives, etc). Blogroll etc. I need a decent comments plugin system. I need a well kitted out RSS feed as I will be posting youtube video within blog articles and I also want to feed to these. At the moment I have some MP3s on itunes and am making an iphone app. so I am going to want really good RSS reader/subscriber flexibility (includes subscribe to RSS via email). I need to be able to add posts within Wordpress client admin simply and 'fully bug-free'. Posts will be copied from MS Word. If there is some way to add youtube embed video without accessing the HTML editor that would be good too. I need the WYSIWYG editor all set up so I can easily add styled, unordered lists at the click of a button without knowing about custom classes, heading tags, adding image custom class for styled borders etc. Also don't want all the nice styling to break, should I need to enter the HTML editor and then go back to the WYSIWYG editor, or vice versa. This needs to be efficient to save me support costs once its set-up. The blog needs to render correctly in major modern PC web browsers as well as IE6 and Mac. My site currently uses tables for layout. If you can build the Theme using CSS tables (with IE6 and IE7 conditional comments) or relative positioning quickly and easily then happy for that to happen too otherwise keeping HTML tables for layout is fine at this point.
Plugins = Akimiset, Disqu, Feedburner, Viper Video Quicktags, All in one SEO, XML Sitemap, Ultimate Google Analytics...... I would like your opinion on whether these are adequate or you have a better suggestion for my requirements.
Someone who has excellent attention to detail and a fine eye is required. More work to follow..
