I am looking for a highly qualified Wordpress Expert to streamline and simplify a Wordpress-powered website.
The present site theme was custom-coded and designed.
It looks great. However, it has more than 30 page templates, one per page. Even minor edits to a page (such as changing an image) are not easy to do.
I want to preserve the excellent graphic design, but to simplify the back-end architecture. The goal is have just a handful of templates for which the content (text and images) can be easily updated.
The template code must also continue to function well after routine updates to the Wordpress platform.
I will only review bids from experienced Wordpress developers who have multiple positive reviews. If you are new to Freelancer.com, please do not bother bidding on this project.
You must also speak English fluently.
You can submit a preliminary bid, with the understanding that you can revise your bid after you have been given Admin access to the back-end of the website. Or your can bid on an hourly fee basis.
The site is now on a development server, under a temporary URL. After the fixes are done, you will also be responsible for moving the entire site to a new server under the permanent URL. So you must be experienced in relocating Wordpress sites, including handling database and configuration file issues.
