My wordpress site is installed and live - just need team to add finishing touches. Quick Project for experienced Wordpress team: 1. Update wordpress to latest version 2. Setup permalinks -ie site.com/category/postname 3. Create standard pages: Contact, Support, Terms, Privacy, Returns, About, Subscribe, Affiliates (copy and customize content and forms from an existing site) 4. Customize Footer with links and company info 5. Upload logo into header (image in the media bin of blog already?) 6. Install Plugins: Pagemash, All-In-One SEO, Contact Form7, Google xml sitemaps, Askismet 7. NAVigation: use pagemash to only show Home, Contact, Subscribe 8. Create new template page - "Stripped Landing Page" = Strip navigation & search (leave logo and footer), no right sidebar - text fills page, margins 20pixels left and right Deadline = 5 days PROVIDED: 1. Will share a doc will ftp, wp admin login, emails to use in forms 2. Link to another of my existing blogs to copy setup and company info, terms, privacy etc... |
