Project Description:
The specific requirements of this project are:
1) Development of flash in AS3 to be executed locally in a computer as an .exe , this computer won´t have Internet access. Its going to be located at the store and basically we are going to save the videos in the computer.
2)We´ll do the whole development of the user interface and transitions.
You would have to do:
1) The component for viewing videos (All of them will have the same format)
2) Development to read videos from the computer hard drive, these must be kept in an specific file with an specific ID, we believe that a good way to do this is create an TXT file where all the videos can be saved with its respective ID, name, category and then that list gets charged in the flash, therefore it must extract video in the following cases:
2.1) Show recommended videos
2.2) Watch videos by category
2.3) Search videos
2.4) Most viewed videos (For every time that a video is reproduced, the software must save in another TXT its number of views)
2.5) Watch latest videos watched by users
2.6) Show related videos to the same category of the video that it’s been reproduced at that moment.
3)Scalable System: If more videos are introduced, it must not affect the development.
