Project Description:
We got a price comparison website (kaon price comparison) and need a motivated, skilled person to add product into our website.
These products are added with help of data feeds, URL based, which insert the product into the shop
When this is done, you need to add the product into the proper category.
This can done mostly by selecting the proper category (click in it and save)
I will explain all the work which needs to be done and how.
Most important is that you understand Dutch, or understand the product and their relation to the proper categories.in Dutch
The work consist in:
-adding merchants in admin (means investigate address , phone, etc, shipping cost etc by visiting their website)
this is very easy, because its just filling all mandatory fields.
- import XML / CVS feeds from various merchants
- move all imported stuff to their proper categories (imported products can create their own categories, so later its just moving those categories into the existing, or rename them when its no really professional looking
- add brand images into the system.(only most common)
We want at least a million product into the shop.
with a good feed we can import 40.000 product in one session. which takes 20 min or less.
We got very heavy server, and buying even more heavier one special for this shop.
We got 5 comparison shops like this, mostly niche, baby, electronic, or like this big one, general
