I belong to a small company that produces photo books and all types of photo gifts. We are developing an app for iOS in order to make possible to our clients to buy our products through their smartphones. We already have iOS developers for the back-end and most of the app's mechanics but we need someone who can do the interface design and execution, (program or build the XML code for the interface).
We need someone who is comfortable both with designing iOS app interfaces and with the programming/execution of that design for the apps. The design must be made using iOS specific tools (xml, themes, views, etc.) and using it's interface components (buttons, top-bar, tabs, etc.).
Detailed information in terms of execution:
We are looking for someone who can (iOS):
Do the design for our app, both screens and screen elements (buttons, controls etc.)
Execute that design under the shape of application files (xml, java, etc.)
Write both the skeleton code for screen controls (button touch events, control events, etc.) and any code regarding screen interaction (move to previous screen, go to next screen, open screen X when button tap, things like "tap on this button opens screen X, on that one goes to screen Z", basically the code for any screen actions).
Currently we are fond of shutterfly's app look and feel, so you may use that as a guideline to better understand our needs.
Detailed information in terms of deliverables:
We are going to work on milestones, so we are proposing the following options:
By screen delivery/payment: each screen represents a project milestone and payment is done accordingly;
By application section payment: we establish each section (for instance: customer profile, product search, order checkout, etc.) as a milestone and payment is done by section completion/delivery.
(we will not pay anything in advance only to start the project)
