Project Description:
We are looking for a proof reader to over see that articles are good.1. Read the given articles and correct the grammatical, lexical error, punctuation errors. (From a user's perspective you should be able to determine that the article correctly convey the message)
2. The articles are generally good, the task is to identify minor honest mistakes
3. If there are many errors the article can be rejected.
4. Articles are 300 words in length, it takes on average 5 - 7 minutes to go through one article.
5. Need to proof read atleast 5 articles per day.
6. We already have proof readers working for $0.25/per article. Don't bid above that rate. Bid for 150 articles.
7. Submit a sample of your writing to show your grasp in English language.

Turning Managers Into Leaders
When people enter management, they learn a great deal in a very short time. However, one part of the job that does not come automatically is being able to become more than a manager, but also a leader. The two are not one and the same. Being able to tell the two apart can take a long time; being able to do both well can take even longer.
One issue that needs consideration is maintaining a positive working environment. First, a leader always sets a good example. This may sound commonplace, but many managers do not know how to do this, and this inability hampers their growth as a leader. Managers need to learn to be a role model for staff People form lasting impressions of others by what they see the first time they meet someone. A manager can make that a lasting impression by doing the right thing at all times.
Another aspect to being a good leader is to always remember that others are watching. A manager can make sure they are keeping up by practicing and promoting common sense principles such as displaying a positive attitude and enthusiasm for their job; taking time to work efficiently and effectively; and probably most important of all – taking opportunities to TEACH! Employees will take the job more seriously if they see their boss walking the talk - does the manager do the same things that the manager is expecting from their staff? If the manager is, and if it is consistent, then that manager is well on their way to becoming a leader.
Another way that a manager becomes a leader is by treating everyone consistently. The key phrase is to be fair, not friends. A manager wants people to like them; a leader wants people to respect them. Earning respect comes when a manager handles situations in like manner for all employees and doesn't play favorites.
An easy way to make sure of consistency in the workplace is for the manager to make sure they know the policies and procedures of the company better than anyone else. Leaders not only know the policies, but they follow them and make sure their employees know they follow them. A leader knows that most performance issues occur when people do not follow the written policies! A good manager that is on their way to becoming a leader will make sure that when they see a policy violation, they deal with those violations of policy uniformly.
These are just a few suggestions on how a person min a management position can develop good leadership skills. The process can take a while. If a manager maintains focus on doing the little things needed to be a good leader, their success will come much quicker and there will be much more satisfaction on the job for everyone.

As for the samples, here goes mine: Winters draw to a close and the thinning grass blades sway in their stupor, waiting for the springs. Their faces, sky-ward, grow paler by the day, pleading to the heavens. The wind that caresses them and once was a gentle drift of morning breeze is now swifter and harsher. It brings no comfort but the forebodings from the farther west. And that nameless fear grips at the very heart of tender saplings, already shriveled and exhausted because of a cruel weather. The air is thick with it and everyone barely talks any longer, waiting silently for that what is to befall. Even the virgin dew that rests delicately upon the edges brings no comfort or satiation. It merges into their fear and trickles down like silent tears of the mourners. Sky, itself, is a patch of a stolid blue with it’s a hazy frown set permanently across its countenance. It would smile no longer, not even when sun rises with its eastern hues whose gilded touch is void of its usual invigoration. And all around, brown carpets of autumn-struck leaves are laid, and their count rises steadily. They fell already and could cling no longer to the fickle hopes of better days. The blades, though, while away the moments still, barely standing now. Any moment, a harsher blow of wind shall bring them down and they too would lie at the sienna-graded ground, whispering to their comrades. Those shall be their last whispers, the byes before parting. And then it shall all be a quiet except for the howling wind.
