We have moved an ecommerce store from [login to view URL] to store.domainname.co.uk. We have a new (non-ecommerce site) at the original [login to view URL] location. The new [login to view URL] site is hosted on Unix and is a Wordpress site; the hosting company have a Plesk console.
We need the .htaccess file looked at to get mod_rewrite function working and in addition to assist with rewriting URLs that have now moved to the [login to view URL] location (R=301 redirect type ultimately) so we can regain the lost traffic.
Currently the .htaccess file has some mod_rewrite commands that should redirect an invalid URL back to [login to view URL] but this is not working.
So in summary:
Get current .htaccess file correect so that mod_rewrite functions and then add commands to rewrite browser URL to do a redirect store trafic to new location whist leaving other trafic alone.
