Hi, My name is Michael. I am a database management system programmer. To be sure, I will write a ISAPI or CGI based application with the following specifications: - 4 tables to comprise the database: Users, Students, Courses and Course selection; - 4 screens including a login dialog: Administration, User Data, Student Data and Course Selection Data; - Reports to PDF file, Excel Import file, Print and Save to Text file. Assumptions: - You are running Apache, IIS or some other Web server that accepts ISAPI or CGI web-based application modules; - MySQL server is already installed on your server with a user to create new database/tables. To answer your questions: I have a moodle open source program installed where students can register themselves for a course, can we utilise this information through backend (mySQL) to save repeated data input? If the data is relevant to this system, yes we would want to import the Moodle data into the new database (no sense wasting good data). To program, test and install a web-based application with the above specs and assumptions, the cost would be $700 and will take, at maximum, 2 weeks to complete. After you have accepted the application, I will provide all source code to the project. I will attach a beta application that I wrote (michael.zip). My more recent projects are proprietary and I am not allowed to release the code or software. To install the application, just unzip in a temp directory and double click on the EXE file.
