Project Description:
I use WordPress 2.8.3 as a portal/blog page for my vBulletin (3.8.3) forum and use a WordPress/vBulletin bridge to connect the two. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=205388
My site: http://bylur.com
I followed the instructions for the bridge very carefully. It does work but for some reason I am having several annoying problems with WordPress. In addition to that, there are simply a few changes I want done.
*When I'm writing a post in the WordPress back-end, the post is saved every X seconds like it's supposed to do except the drafts do not merge into one like they should do but instead there are from 5-10 drafts in the 'Drafts' section for the post that I have to delete after publishing the post. This does not prevent anything from working but it's very annoying and I want it fixed.
*When writing a post in WordPress, I receive the following warning: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/bylur.com/wp-content/plugins/vblogin/vblogin.php:73) in /var/www/bylur.com/wp-includes/classes.php on line 1586
It seems to have something to do with the vBulletin log-in box plugin which you can see in action on top of the sidebar (http://bylur.com). I would like to have this fixed.
*When I publish a post I receive a white page with the following warning:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/bylur.com/wp-content/plugins/vblogin/vblogin.php:73) in /var/www/bylur.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 865
The post is nevertheless published but I really think this is annoying and want it fixed.
*The feed is broken; I want it fixed: http://bylur.com/feed/
*The log-in/welcome box on top of the sidebar should be moved to the top right header of the site like it is in vBulletin (http://bylur.com/forums) (it should look exactly like it looks in the vBulletin part of the site).
*Navbar: The drop-down link for search should be fixed in WordPress (currently it just links to the search.php page), the Quick Links drop-down link from vBulletin should be added into the navbar in WordPress and the log out link (for vBulletin) should be added in the navbar in WordPress. In other words, the navbar in the WordPress part of the site should work and look exactly like in the vBulletin part of the site.
*I want users' avatars to be bridged over from vB to WordPress so you can see them when logged-in users comment on WordPress blog posts. http://bylur.com/n600#comments
