Hello, i'm in need of some help. I have an Oscommerce website.I have a folder with over 437 swimwear products (all one category) . One folder has the images, the other folder has a .csv file, or a .txt file for the data feed, it also has video clips that I want to be uploaded to each products page. I need these products to be upload to my site, and correctly put in with a quanity and a weight, etc.
Currently I upload products one by one, but my oscommerce site does have something called Easy Populate 2.76h, it was contribution that was added. I need all of these products put up. Not sure if there is an easier way to go about this.
I need to know how long this would take, and I need it done A.S.A.P.

Hello, I am very familiar with osCommerce and have done a lot of custom work with it.
I have done before and can do here writing a script to do one of two things depending on the setup:
1) re-output the current CSV/TXT file into a format the the Easy Populate will recognize
2) directly insert the data from the CSV/TXT file into the osCommerce database.
There's a number of ways to handle videos. Version 2.3 of osCommerce allows you to enter HTML for the large "popup" image view. So you can put in embed code such as you would copy from YouTube or similar to display a video in the popup instead of just a larger version of the image.
The other option would be to add a new field to the product database to allow specifying a video filename and then use some free player (Flowplayer possibly) to display the video for products that have a video filename set.
