I am looking for professionals that can develop a Windows Application for managing gold parties.This project will be Phase One, a very simple and small application to start. Once it is developed, fully tested and deployed, we'll start on Phase Two that will involve mobile applications and Web Application.
Right now we will be looking for a bid for a Phase One.
What we are looking for is for someone to create an Application similar to GoldPartyPremier.com, you need download a demo from their website http://www.goldpartypremier.com/index-2.html, there you will also find documentations for this application so please download it to, very important before you bid. I need this application to be much more User Friendly, better User Interface, more Robust, better Navigation between screens without crashing or hanging of the windows, better and easier searches, better handling of the history records, just an over all, a much improved version of GoldPartyPremier Application.
Must be fully Windows XP, Vista and and future release of Windows compliant (for later releases we'll need to make it available for MAC). Please also watch the demo http://www.goldpartypremier.com/index-6.html.
This application will consist of about 5 to 7 screens and several reports and receipts (please download the demo to see exactly how many screens will be needed.
This Application will need to be developed using ASP .NET and a DB that will be suitable for this application MySQL or SQL Server Express.

Please only bid on this project if you really think you can do this in a small amount of time as I need this ASAP because as I already mentioned once this Phase is complete we'll move on to Phase two and further. This project is very simple but will indicate to me if we can partner with the company for further development and establish a longtime relationship as there will be enhancements and other releases done.
Once we get the bid and fill that you are the right company to partner with we'll go into more in depth information about some of the changes that we'll need based on this clone of GoldPartyPremier application.
We want to make sure that the company that bids on this project is the company that is working with the latest technologies so once we establish the relationship we don't have to run around looking for someone else to handle different aspects of our upcoming projects.
Also please bid with realistic development time. Again as I already mentioned base everything on the GoldPartyPremier application but be open minded that the application that you will develop must better by 1000%
Do not bid if you have not examined or studied this software by downloading it.
We also need to make sure that it is very secure and password protected.

Hi all and thank you for bidding on my project.
I would also like to clarify something for everyone. Our company is in the Scrap Gold Buying business. But our vision goes beyond just having this application developed for our own use. If this works out, we would like to market this software to other companies as there is really nothing on the market today fas a Scrap Gold Buying Management System (mini CRM). Whoever this project is awarded to I want to make sure that there a mutual understanding and a start of a long term relationship as we will contract who ever the development company will be to share in sales profits as you will need to maintain the bug fixes and future enhancements. There will be different phases, like mobile application, web application for self-service. When developing this application you need to do it with a thought of upcoming new technology changes that will need to be applied for future enhancements. As I mentioned this first project is just a start, but it needs to be professionally developed as it should be out of the box software.over 2 years ago

Hi, thanks for contacting me.
I do understand the process, I have very technical background in Oracle DB and Oracle Developer Suite. I was also a Project Manager for a very long time for a very large US Corporation. She the project life span is something I know of very well. This particular project is not that complex and is very small. If I had to develop this using Oracle DB and Oracle forms, I could have it completed within tops 15 to 20 days.
If you are interested in this project, tell me your terms. If you can handle this and it works out to my acceptance this would be a lonterm relationship. But I need to be sure you understand exactly what is expected of you for this particular project.

I have downloaded the Program which has nothing great about it. It uses an outdated insecure Backend for storing data that may not serve your purpose as per you job description.
If u need a short term solution it can be assembled within a couple of days. But in the long run it may not suit your purpose
Developing a program like the one you visualize is an affair where u take active part in the development of the same. As u are the user your visualization has to be transfered to me. In what we call the SYSTEM Study. Then the system will be designed and sent to you for your approval where u may make changes or accept the model.
Then the database and data capturing forms would follow. I could go on, but that is not the oal here.
It is a time taking process but the outcome u receive would be a secure robust program, offering many features with various levels of security for different uses with different rights. The system can be designed with different modules to allow proper intergration of the various activities in your business.
If u are using microsoft products then u would understand what I am talking about. I would be glad to help u create what u want.over 2 years ago
