  We run a computer portal www.techarena.in which uses a traditional news script named virtuanews. We require all the old content to be migrated to NEW CMS (Wordpress or something better). We are planning for a better solution and a new re-design for our website.
  
  Our users should be able to achieve following task on this CMS.
  Publish news, articles, guides/tutorials, videos, downloads, etc. each in their respective sections/category.
  Example Sites:
  tech2.com
  www.betanews.com
  
  We have integrated our existing CMS with Vbulletin (using vbulletin user management which is usergroup based).
  Wordpress can be integrated with Vbulletin using a bridge/plug-in http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=134521
  Or we can also use amember.com bridge software.
  
  Vbulletin System is based on usergroups, there are number of default groups in vbulletin and we can create unlimited additional usergroups with varied permissions.
  Example of usergroups in vbulletin:
  Guests
  Users Awaiting Email Confirmation (this users have registered with us, but not yet confirmed via authentication code send to the email address users have provided in there profile during registration)
  Registered Users (users can have confirmed authentication code send to there emails)
  News Reporters (this users are special users given permissions to post content on portal/cms
  Super-Moderators
  Administrators
  
  Our Requirements:

  We want a re-design of our entire website using wordpress to be used as a CMS (if there are better options kindly let us know). There are many premium themes used in wordpress available on this site http://www.premiumwp.com/ we will combine power of this themes in our CMS. (Please note we will pay additional amounts for buying this scripts)
  
  2.
  We want a usergroup hierarchy in our CMS (based on permissions given in vbulletin), we will require only Registered usergroup members should be able to comment on articles/information posted on CMS)
  Similarly News Reporters group should be able to directly post content on CMS.
  We will have other groups like guests etc. to have permissions to post information on CMS/frontend but this articles should first go under a moderation/approval process.
  
  3.
  We require a video section based on this wordpress theme:

  (We should have power to publish video files in flash format, we will host files from YouTube and many other video sites, as well we should be able publish video files located on our own server)

  We are also looking for a download section for our website where we will publish information about software downloads, (we will publish information about software named WinZip and the actual installation file for WinZip will be on winzip.com or on our server).

  5.
  We require RSS capabilities for all sections and sub-sections.
  (we should be able to control the amount of information *number of words* we are sending in this rss feeds)

  We also require Google/yahoo/msn capable sitemaps to be auto-generated everyday via cron tasks for all sections of our websites. (The Sitemaps protocol enables webmasters to inform search engine about pages on their site that are available for crawling.)
  
  7. Tagging capabilities for all content on our website.
  (RSS feeds and Google sitemaps for this tags if possible.)
  
  8. We require unlimited categories and sub-categories for all our sections.
  
  9. Site should be complete SEO optimized (we will discuss later how our URI should appear)
  
  10.

  Some small tweaks on admin panel of CMS(Wordpress) which shall help information publishing fast.
  
  We are looking forward for technical expertise where all the above features and a whole new design, let us know the quote for same, we are sure this kind of design/system will be at least 1000 US$ or more.
  Also let us know which Wordpress Premium Themes can be used to get our requirements.
  
  Kindly let us know the total cost and time for this project, mode of payments and any terms/conditions involved.
  We do not require any copyrights from your website to be displayed on techarena, ownwership of entire code shall belong to techarena once project is done and all payments cleared.
  We will also require your team to help us during security/software upgrades (this amounts shall be paid additionally)
