Project Description:

I need a server-side script for FMS 3.0

The script will listen for all live streams initiated by FMS 3.0

When a stream is started, it will record it to a temporary location within the Application/'application' folder.

When the stream is stopped it will:
1. Move the file to a folder a subfolder of the Application/'application'.
2. Run a single MySQL query on a mysql database. Inserting 'systemtime', 'stream name' and 'total time of recording'
3. Be able to run custom .sh scripts/executables.

If you can manage something like this, please contact me so we can discuss the approach.

Additional Project Description:

09/07/2008 at 18:41 EDT:
I use Flash media encoder to stream video/audio to the FMS 3.0 server. This is done through rtmp://ip/live <- Whereas 'live' is the Application.

Within FME I have to specify what the stream name is to be.

Skills required:

Flash, Script Install

Hi There I am an experienced Unix SA and I could complete this task for you. I would require the system and mysql user details and the paths to the application and file destination. If I was provided with this I could write you a simple script which you could then use to trigger external scripts later if you desired. Regards Sam less
