Project Description:

Project is to create programming from a box that will be placed on a piece of machinery. The box will have a open/close clamp that monitor electric current. If a piece of machinery is down-it will not have a current- this is where we need you-to develop a way for the box (with a programmed chip) to notify a server (via wireless technology) that a machine/unit is not functioning. The server will then notify the individual users by email or cell phone--and send a copy of the message to our main server for record keeping. The database that will store the info should only need to log the occurence, the date & time and short description if possible. Visual basic is the preferred application /but not necessary.
