I am looking for someone who could build me a cheap GSM or GPS tracker. I want the tracker to be fitted with a SIM card so that i can locate it using online webservices such childlocate or people locator. I would like to know if the tracker could be fitted with a vibration or tilt sensor so that i receive a text when moved.If i find someone to build one of them at an affordable price, i will probably order more as i already have clients in view to buy them.
Don't know if a RF transmitter could be fitted in the tracker so it could be located if concealed.

I have experience in development of GPS-tracking software and I have done before a system for tracking vehicles and cargoes. That project have been done 1 year ago for one Ukrainian customer. But my experience in this area is not limited by software development I also have electronics engineer in my team. And nowadays we are working under construction of tracking device. We already have a prototype of device and it is under testing now. We also developing a firmware for tracker microprocessor. It means that we can develop any functions you wish for you tracker.
I can not tell you exact price for hardware development right now. We just made a prototype and it is under testing know.
The cost of our tracking device is about 150 USD. Probable the cost can be lower if its components like GPS receiver, GSM/GPRS modem, microcontroller are cheaper in your country. I will enclose photoes of our tracking device we working on.

We operate an electronics design house based in the Philippines. We can complete your project using a combined GPRS/GSM/GPS module and a small micro controller that will handle the communications. You talked about an RF locator, maybe an easier way is to include a small speker in the unit, so if you need to find it then just call the GSM module with your phone and it will beep or whatever. we are currently quoting another customer on a tracking device so we have up to date prices etc to produce these. We can also offer you a manufactoring service once the initial prototypes have been developed and tested. Your price is very low, we can do the development work and give you 3 complete and working prototypes for $1600.
