Project Description:
I have a bunch of IP addresses and i would like a script that will accept a file of IP addresses and retrieve which city those IP addresses are in. I would like the output to be the list of IP addresses with the appropriate city. There are numerous sites that will tell you the location of an IP address and there are also database related sites such as Maxmind.com. I would like the program to check 2,000 IP addresses quickly and not get blocked by the service that is being used to identify the city. Attached is a file of US IP addresses. Note, the program will need to determine if the addresses are in the US, this file just happened to already to have filtered for the Country. This should be a very simple script to write and i don't have a large budget so please bid reasonably.Skills required:
