  ALL BIDDERS:
  
  Thank you all for your bids and comments. I just wanted to update you that I am reading each PM and reviewing each bid. By today at 11:00pm US Eastern Standard Time, I will release a the first official round of project clarifications as a document (RFP-Rev1.pdf). I will also release a critical path milestone schedule at that time. I will be awarding the contract by 11:00PM US Eastern Standard Time tomorrow (10/2/08).
  
  So far you all appear to have excellent credentials and experience; however, I am finding that some of you have strengths in Flash & graphic art while others have strength in data-driven infrastructure, general site layout, SEO, project management, etc. Because of this, I may approach you on possibly just executing a portion of the project rather than the whole thing.
  
  This is a personal investment of my own money so I will be very particular and will probably act as the project manager. If this venture is successful, I can keep many of you busy next year with several other projects in my queque.

  The RFP is only a guide line to give you the idea of what I am looking for. If you have cheaper/faster or more practical ideas (perhaps using other technologies), I am interested.
  
  Also, I can live with a 2D (rather than 3D) tree and without the drag-and-drop functionality if necessary as long as the site is still fun and entertaining.

  I am willing to allow PHP & MySql if the freelancer will also help setup and configure all of it on my server.
  
  I am not familiar with PHP & MySQL which is why I prefer ASP.NET.
