We currently operate a text based BBS system using Discusware http://www.discusware.com
We are using MySQL on a linux server.
We wish to convert the message system to either phpbb3.
This forum will operate under Joomla so knowledge of Joomla would be a bonus.
Note: There is a converter which converts our discusware forum to phpbb 2 (Then an upgrade to phpbb3 is required)

Dear Sir. I am qualified web developer in the UK, with over 10 years experience in PHP, MySQL, Perl and Ruby alongside client side languages like JavaScript, XHTML and HTML 5.0. I have worked with phpBB 2 since version 2.0.19 and phpBB 3 since the early beta/RC versions. I am very proficient with the software itself and would be considered a "guru" when it comes to phpBB and most other bulletin board systems.
