looking for an excel guru to help me with a spreadsheet which will calculate numerological values of words. for example everytime a word is typed in, excel spreadsheet will automatically display numerological values of letters and words and add them together so i can see the total in real time. this really is pretty simple for someone who knows excel. have created the formula myself several years ago, but have forgotten exactly how to do it now so i need a little help. please pm with any questions.Skills required:

do you want the result when you are typing?
or like a function (like any other excel function) where you enter cell reference with the function.
If you want like a function then I already have done it for you. It will concatinate value of each letter and show like a single number.

Hi, please clarify if you want the result in real time before pressing Enter in the cell or after. the formulas are updated after pressing enter. otherwise you need a macro.
Also please clarify if you want the information for the whole words or a specified word provided by you every time (e.g. you want to know how many "and" in the text).

A good start would be to make a macro/algorithm that split the word or sentence into letters and numbers and thereafter convert them to a numerological value, followed by summing it up.
