An interesting and altogether untraditional opportunity to make a bit of money and get your art out there in front of a captive audience.. Go on, you say? ok! ;)I've recently started a small website designed to merge the creative talents of some great artists/cartoonists (you) and some of the funny/witty web surfers (all around us). Teamed together, I envision much unique and comical humor being created for the enjoyment of all. You the cartoonist benefits most as I see it, because you're able to potentially gain a larger audience/following by increased visibility on the site... and carry on down your roads to fortune and fame!

The site is called Comic Captions, a place for humor to grow organically by mixing together an equal mix of skilled pens and clever minds, then allowing us all to enjoy what magic and humor that comes of it.

I understand the site isn't a perfect fit for all of you or your art, so the balls in your court to decide. In addition to the fun and potential publicity for your art, I'd like to offer $100 to the cartoonist who has the most page traffic (I have Google counting!) on the comics they add to the site. Any comics you have can be uploaded easily to the site. Old cartoons, seconds, unselected project work, etc. You still own the art, on the legal end, but everyone will get to enjoy, and add captions if the spirit moves them! I think we'll find that its really fun to see what captions arise from our comics. I am excited to make comics for the site to see what the creative/hilarious members come up with! Share your comics with your friends and have them give each one 'thumbs ups' to boost their visibility and help you win the $100!
It's really about having a bit of fun, bringing together an online community with very different skills together for the enjoyment of all, and adding a smile or a chuckle to as many peoples' days as possible!

The site is very new as you'll see. You'll be some of the first great content on there!
You'll want to join the site first (Be sure to add your contact details and website URL when you join!), then you can add whatever cartoons you'd like. Give yourself a thumbs up to start off on the right foot! ;)
Once you've uploaded what you want, send the URL to all your friends/fans/family to visit, vote, and add captions. The most visitors (according to google) gets the $100.
Go make sure you get it, submit a Bid on this project for $108 ...that way GetAFreelancer gets their cut, and you still get 100. ;)
Whoever has the most visitors will be 'awarded the project' and paid right here through GetAFreelancer.
