I am very interested in your project, and have worked as a designer/illustrator for various companies, with childern related products. As a freelance designer, I developed apparel designs for T-shirts and license characters. In the past I have design for Ashford Drake, creating concepts for giftware and other items. I have developed many characters for animation and cdrom, and in many different styles and looks. My background is very vast in different areas of design. You're project sounds right up my alley, and I could not pass up an opportunity to give it a go and submit a bid for it.
I am new to the business, but I will work hard and efficiently to complete some wonderful illustrations for your story. I am intrigued by the idea, and I also have a love of children's books and illustrations.
I will work to whatever guidelines and deadlines you give me.
Payment, I of course submit a number because it is required, but really I am very negotiable about how much. Like I mentioned, I'll work with you to whatever suits you best and we'll find equal grounds.

Most recently I have added pictures from my last illustration job which consisted of a series of animal drawings (mostly cats). It was my first real job in this arena and we were both glad to work with each other and quite satisfied with the results.
