I have a Belkin USB hub model #F5L009. I could reverse engineer this and generate the hardware schematic in Orcad for you. I would not generate any of the firmware nor the PCB layout, however since Belkin uses GPL this means that they must provide source code upon request under the terms of GPL license. So you could demand that from them. The other option would be to use USB linux server software which is free online but you would need to hire a firmware engineer for that. I would also like to co-develop the schematic with you as I already had plans to integrate this into a product of my own which is much different from a standalone solution you presented. So I would ask for rights to use this myself. In short I'd provide the schematic and I have the ability to reverse engineer a PCB board netlist through 3-D X-ray scan.  less
