IP traffic generator with direct BGP peering in Argentina
Project ID:
692861
Project Type:
Fixed
Budget:
$250-$750 USD
Project Description:
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in IP/BGP, C+ software development in general, to build a temporary traffic generator which must be able to reach one of our border routers connected to Telecom Argentina SA. Traffic must be generated from a host directly connected to AS7303 network and/or a host that can reach the mentioned network in less than 50ms latency. Traffic should be generated so that our border router can't distinguish any specific pattern (i.e. only HTTP, only SMTP). We would provide access to the mentioned border router and to 3 temporary VPS running inside our network. Throughput should be able to reach sustained +10Mbps. Please post only if you have direct control over an external host directly or indirectly connected to AS7303 (Telecom Argentina).

IPLAN would be perfect. An online script would be enough, hosted at your own server, which should generate +10Mbps sustained random traffic (http, smtp, pop3, https...) to/from one of our VPSs. Traffic generation should last at least 24h hours. Although this requirement would be for a one-time only,
we could be interested in lafrger commitment in the future.

Hello,
We have servers at IPLAN, which is directly connected to AS7303. Could you please specify the exact requirements for the software? Would it be just a Perl script to generate random traffic? Would it be hosted (SaaS) or not? Is it enough that it generates sustained +10Mbps of random
traffic to/from one of your VPSs? Would we be responsible for a long-time operation or is it just a one-time test? Thank you.
