Description / Outline of the Work
Animated video using supplied static creative and iStock video clips

Objectives of Task
We’ve created a storyboard in InDesign CS3 for an animated video that will run for just under 3 minutes. We will supply the music track and notes on which frames need to hit certain points in the track. The storyboard includes screen grabs of video clips purchased from iStock (the actual videos will be supplied in either .mov, .wmv or .mp4 format, can you please advise which format you require and we will purchase them and provide them to you) and static graphics which will need to be animated by you. There may be some instances where magic dust from an iStock video needs to be merged with some of the static graphics you will be animating. There also may be instances where the colours of the iStock video clip may need to be changed to suit our branding (which is yellow, black and white).

Suggested Approach
We will supply you with the final InDesign CS3 pack – including .indd file, .inx file, fonts, links, a high res pdf of the storyboard, the iStock video clips in either .mov, .wmv or mp4 format, music track in mp3 format and notes on points within the track where certain frames need to be hit. We suggest you use Adobe After Effects or another motion graphics software program.

Geographic Focus Worldwide
The animated video will projected on multiple screens during a launch event, uploaded to YouTube, our Website, our Wordpress Blog and used on a promotional CD/DVD.

Expected Deliverables
A preview of the first 30 seconds, then the final video as 1920x1080 H.264 MP4 Video with AAC Audio as well as the working After Effects file (or whichever program you choose to work in). We need the animation to match the music as best as possible.

Deliverable Formats
Working After Effects file, a 1920x1080 for HD file as well as a web-ready 1280x720 H.264 MP4 Video with AAC Audio.

Any Interim Deliverable Required / Dates
We’d like you to provide us with a preview of the first 30 seconds of the animated video within 2 days so we can assess your progress. If this is suitable we will then ask you to proceed with the rest of the animated video which we will expect within another 3 days. We will then provide with any changes which we will expect to be completed within 3 days. The entire project time should be no more than 8 days total.

Background Material; If any
We are primarily a graphic design company with a basic understanding of Adobe Flash. We have never worked in Adobe After Effects but are of the understanding that this would be a better program to use than Adobe Flash as the motion graphics capabilities are far greater.

8 days after the files are supplied by RED-I Design.
