Project Description:
This project comes in two distinct but related parts - part 2 depends on part 1.Part 1 is currently known as Vet Spider.
Part 2 is known as Vet OA
The development is essentially two SharePoint 2010 (v4) websites one of which will use Vet OA.
The first site, also known as Vet Spider is effectively a shop front for the Vet Spider concept to be marketed to other company principals who want a web site plus the built in marketing tools.
The second site is a real veterinary website that also includes the Vet OA web part to be used in production. Effectively the second site will be the first example of one of the new Vet Spider template sites.
So the deliverables in a nutshell are:
1. The Vet Spider site
2. The Vet OA web part
3. The first incarnation of a Vet Spider derivative.
Hope that is clear - you need to read the specs as well. Oh, BTW, the specs do not include a spec for item 3 of the deliverables! It seems to me that once 1 and 2 are delivered, 3 is just a clone of 1 + 2 but with a different look and feel.
In the future there may be other pieces of work to develop more web parts and/or a mobile version of the system.
