Request for ProposalYoung Fathers of Central Florida is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help fathers between the ages of 14-19 be able to support themselves and their children. We are seeking quotes for an update to our website.
We are currently accepting bids for a fund developer. We expect this position to last as long as it takes for you to complete the job’s requirements.
Young Fathers of Central Florida is fast-paced organization dealing with young fathers, since we do not charge them for services; it is necessary for us to seek other avenues in order to provide funding for our programs. We will ask that you seek out and apply for grants on our behalf.
Requirements for Contract:
•Make a Calendar of grants – 3 or 4 grants that can be applied for every month in the next year.
•Database of grants – What grants have programs like ours been successful in obtaining in the past? What set those programs apart from the others?
•Apply for $100,000 worth of unrestricted grants in the next 3 months.
•Work with Website designer to make web-based donations intuitive and easy
•Work with Website designer to profit off of money for increased traffic to our website.

I am applying for this project because I like what you are doing. I coach a high school rugby team in Indiana and last season I had three players with pregnant girlfriends; to see these guys 9and the girls too) were unprepared for what they were getting into would be an absolute understatement.
I coach because I want to help people. I write because I beleive the written word is still one of the best ways to reach people. In the past I have worked on several grants, some for the State of Indiana and others for groups like yourself. I am familiar with what you need and I know where to go to find it.
As for pay, especially since you see this as an ongoing thing (potentially) may I suggest that you consider an hourly wage of sorts; I know that may be more problematic because then you have to trust other people when they say they are doing something. Then again, you would not be in the work that you are if you didn't believe in people (at least a little bit).
